Classic aircraft convention at the Hahnweide, 04-06.08.2013
Every two years at the Hahnweide in Kirchheim Teck is a great airshow, the “Oldtimer Fliegertreffen” – classic aircraft convention. It is about two and a half kilometers far from home. The weather was nice. So there was no reason not to go there.

Normally I hate sleepless nights. But this time it drove me out to the bridge over the A8 highway right near our home. What might be faster. The stars or the cars?

HDR made from 3 photos, f8-11, 2-10 minutes, ISO 200. BTW, the gaps in the traces from the stars are from the dark pictures the 600D makes to compensate hot pixels. Will turn them off next time and retouch the hotpix by hand.
Celebration at Wat Pa Taeo
Our home is straight next to the temple (Thai language: Wat) in Pa Taeo, a small village about 12 km in the West of Phichai in the Uttaradit province. Yesterday evening there was a big celebration with live music, market and a theatre performance. Of course we went there too.
