Loy Krathong
The day before yesterday, November 28th, we celebrated Loy Krathong.
Krathong
The Krathong are small “rafts” made of a banana stem, decorated with banana leaves, candles and incense sticks. After we had a barbecue with the whole family we deposited the Krathong after a prayer on the pond in front of the temple next to our home.
